Fatehpur Sikri

Start the day trip from Jaipur and first visit Fatehpur Sikri – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an abandoned capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. It used to be the capital of India once during the empire of Akbar but later he deserted it due to the scarcity of water. Fatehpur Sikri is known for its beautiful gates, Palaces and in-house Dargah of Salim Chishti. You will visit this historical monument with an English speaking expert guide.

Taj Mahal

Continue the day journey with driver and guide to Agra and first visit the monument of love – Taj Mahal. Mughal Emperor Shahjahan built Taj Mahal in the memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal and it means Crown Palace. It attracts most number of international and domestic tourists and regarded as most popular wonder in the world. This most beautiful palace is an architectural marvel and a finest example of Mughal architecture. It is made with pure while marble taken from the mines of Makrana town of Rajasthan. The construction work at this mausoleum was started in 1631 and completed in 1643, thus it took 12 years to finish the work of main complex.

Agra Fort

After the visit to Taj, have lunch at local restaurant. Later, take a guided tour of marvelous Agra Fort. From here, four of the mighty Mughals rules the Indian Sub-continent. Inside the fort, visit the palace of public audience, the chamber of private ministers and the beautiful marble part, where Shahjahan spent his last time being house imprisoned by his own son.

Drive back to Jaipur to culminate the trip by 0800 P.M.
