Cancellation and Refund Policy

Be so kind to read the following terms and conditions. By accepting final tour documents and digital files you accept all these terms and conditions. All prices are either in US Dollars or Euros per person based on double occupancy accommodations unless otherwise stated. Travel Insurance is mandatory and highly recommended for clients for all kind of journeys (Destinations, Curated Journeys, Honeymoon, One day Journey, Tailor Made Journey, and One of a Kind Journey). Travel Insurance will cover you safe in case of any untoward situation like last minute cancellation due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances that forces you to resume the trip and so on.

Cancellation Charges

In the event that you need to cancel a part or all of your travel arrangements due to any reasons, you will be expected to notify us of the same in writing. Depending on the time and date of when we receive your intimation of cancellation, relevant charges will be applicable as below.

10% of the Cost of the Tour + Cost of Non-Refundable Services if intimated 60-30 days before arrival.
30% of the Cost of the Tour + Cost of Non-Refundable Services if intimated 30-15 days prior to arrival.
60% of the Cost of the Tour + Cost of Non-Refundable Services if intimated 29-07 days prior to arrival.
Beyond this, you will be charged 100% of the cost in case of any cancellation within 6 days of tour commencement.

In addition to this, please note that special train journeys such as – Palace on Wheels, Deccan Odyssey, Golden Chariot and during peak tourist season period (between December 20th and 15th Jan) the cancellation policy changes and is advised to customers, when applicable. Furthermore, premium hotel chains such as the Taj, Leela, ITC and the Oberoi Group apply different cancellation policies where 1 night retention fees or occasionally full retention for the stay are charged if a cancellation or amendment is made 30 days before.

Some hotels and service providers may ask for a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. In case you need to cancel this booking, your refund will be restricted to the limited amount depending on that hotel’s or service providers’ policy.

TRAVEL IMPACT does not bear any responsibility for refunds on unused accommodations, missed meals and chartered transportation. We are also not accountable for lost land and air reservations during the trip.

There will be no charges on any cancellation of the tour occurred due to the event whenTRAVEL IMPACT expresses inability to operate the tour in any way possible. Any refund due from Travel Impact takes a minimum of 60 days to be processed and be transferred back to the customer. Some hotels take longer time in processing the applicable refunds and Travel Impact’ refund to the customer accordingly takes longer time in such cases.
