Welcome to India! You will be received at Indira Gandhi International airport by one of our executives and later shall be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay. Remaining time is completely at leisure.
After having a leisurely breakfast, move out for a daylong sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid – India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat – the site of Gandhi’s cremation, the iconic Qutub Minar, stunning Lotus temple and other attractions. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk— Old Delhi’s most famous market—where you’ll be able to shop for everything from saris to silver jewellery. Post noon, drive past India gate, Parliament house and President’s house. By the evening return back to the hotel. Optional sound and light show tour at Akshardham temple. Overnight at the hotel.

After having your breakfast, checkout and drive to the erstwhile mughal citadel of Agra. After checking in at the hotel, move out to take a tour to visit the grand Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind its fortified walls. Evening is at leisure.

Early morning at sunrise, visit the epitome of love – the world famous Taj Mahal! Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers. Later drive to Jaipur and enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri – the abandoned citadel of Akbar built in the 16th-century. Continue your drive to Jaipur and stop by Abhaneri stepwells enroute. Visit the Harshat Mata Temple and India’s deepest and largest stepwell, the impressive Chand Baori. Finally arrive Jaipur and check in at your hotel for an overnight stay. Evening is free to explore the bazaars in and around the walled city.

Early in the morning drive to the 16th century Amber Fort. Ascend on an elephant that transports you to the lofty fort, where you enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon visit the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire, Hawa Mahal (palace of winds) and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. Evening you have the option of having dinner at an ethnic rural village or at the hilltop of Nahargarh which offers a breathtaking night view of Jaipur. Overnight at your hotel.

Drive to the Thar Desert and to the historic city of Bikaner in northeastern Rajasthan. Established by Rao Bika, the son of Maharaja Rao Jodha (the founder of Jodhpur), in 1488, Bikaner quickly became an important stop on the trade route between Central Asia and the Gujarat coast, before becoming an important cultural center for arts and architecture under Mughal rule in the 16th century. After checking in, a half-day sightseeing tour of this beautiful city starts with a visit to the majestic Junagarh Fort, which was built by Raja Rai Singhji between 1571 and 1611. Inspired by his overseas trips, Junagarh Fort comprises palaces, temples, pavilions, monuments, and art. Also visit a Camel Breeding Farm by the evening.

Take a detour to Deshnok Karni Mata temple, also known as Rat temple. Spend some time here and later drive to the beautiful Shekhawati region, one of Rajasthan’s best-kept secrets. You’ll stop in the towns of Mandawa, Fatehpur and Nawalgarh to visit the decorated havelis, traditional elaborate mansions. Take in the intricate frescoes as you get a glimpse of what life is like in Rajasthan. Mandawa, known as the ‘open art gallery of Rajasthan’ is famous for its forts and havelis (mansions), that are adorned with exquisitely painted frescoes. Commissioned by wealthy merchant families from the 18th to the early 20th centuries,  the Shekhawati region is dotted with so many beautifully painted havelis that discovering them is like a treasure hunt,  with the fine art adorning the walls and ceilings perfectly contrasting against the otherwise flat, barren landscapes of the region. Overnight at Mandawa.

Morning have your breakfast, checkout and drive back to New Delhi and upon arrival you have the option of some last minute shopping or having dinner at one of the local restaurants. At appropriate time, you will be transferred to the International airport for your onward journey [The Tour Ends]
