This 14-day journey will immerse you in the spiritual heart of North India, connecting you to the ancient practices of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism. Begin in Rishikesh, where you’ll practice yoga on the serene banks of the Ganges, and continue to Dharamsala to explore Buddhist teachings amidst the snow-clad Himalayas. In Amritsar, visit the Golden Temple, the sacred center of Sikhism, before venturing into the iconic Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. But this trip offers more than just sightseeing—enjoy unique experiences like meeting local artisans, staying in village homestays, and engaging in socially conscious tourism, all while uncovering the deeper spiritual fabric of India.

Itinerary

Arrive in Delhi, a city where history and modernity collide. Explore Old Delhi’s rich Mughal-era heritage, visit Gandhi’s memorial, and wander through the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk. Discover the vibrant Sufi culture in Nizamuddin, where you’ll enjoy qawwali music and local delicacies at the Nizamuddin Dargah.  
Travel to Jaipur and visit a rural Rajasthan community led by Jaimala and Hitesh. Learn about their ethical fashion project, explore local schools, and observe sustainable initiatives like organic farming and biogas plants. Stay in a traditional homestay for an authentic experience.
Try your hand at block printing with local artisans and learn about their craft. In the afternoon, explore one of Jaipur’s stunning forts or palaces, like the Amber Fort or City Palace. Overnight at the homestay.  
Head to Agra to witness the breathtaking Taj Mahal, especially during sunset for a perfect view of the iconic white marble monument.    
Start the day with a sunrise view of the Taj Mahal, then head back to Delhi, stopping at a café run by acid attack survivors. Visit an elephant rescue center, where you can interact with and bathe the gentle giants.  
Fly to Amritsar and visit the Golden Temple, the holiest site in Sikhism. Experience the serene atmosphere before heading to Wagah to witness the daily military ceremony at the India-Pakistan border.
Travel to Dharamsala, the Tibetan capital in exile. Explore the local valley, visit Buddhist shops, and immerse yourself in Tibetan culture. Stay at a Tibetan Monastery.
Explore the Dalai Lama Temple and engage in Buddhist practices such as meditation and scripture debates with local monks.  
Take a scenic trek from McLeod Ganj to Triund, surrounded by lush forests and offering stunning views of the Kangra Valley and the Dhauladhar mountains.  
Drive to Haridwar and board an overnight train to Rishikesh, a spiritual haven on the banks of the Ganges River.  
Arrive in Rishikesh and settle in for a spiritual experience. Witness the evening Ganga Aarti ceremony, a ritual dedicated to the holy river.    
Learn about Ayurveda from a professional, followed by a traditional Ayurvedic massage to rejuvenate your body and mind.    
Practice yoga on the serene banks of the Ganges, then take an Ayurvedic cooking class. On your final day, return to Delhi by train, bringing with you a sense of peace and spiritual awakening.
